"Unquiet" Playlist

I've been experimenting with music seriously-ish since 2012, and wanted to put a playlist together of some of my best vocal stuff so far... excluding the first track all of these songs have lyrics...

It has now been 11 months since I've posted a video... so I'm really excited to show you "Lost", my second music video

This song is the first song I made on my phone using GarageBand... I had a vision for the video before I made the song... this song came to life in a way I didn't expect... as did the video.

Happy Valentine's Day...

Here is some stuff I have been working on...

I had some songs that I made but never posted and was really happy with them... so I finally decided to add them together... and since they have to do with love and me and love I figured what better day to post them...

If you find you have 7 minutes and 36 seconds to listen to these sounds then find a quiet spot and some headphones, close your eyes and listen at full volume

 This RED Zine is my 7th Zine but the 3rd in the DMBstudios Daniel Zine Collection. It is EXCLUSIVE because I will not be handing these out in random cities... I will only be including them in an upcoming DMBstudios Triple Zine Pack which should be available for sale sometime later in the year along with the rest of the collection. All proceeds will go to printing FAT fridaze Year one

 

I am almost finished with GREEN ZINE # 2... soon I will reveal the subject... MWAHAHAHAHAHAH

Untitled EP

This collection of sounds was all made in 2015 using Garage Band on my phone except for the first 2 tracks which were made in 2014 using my old Yamaha (Track 3 was made using Garage Band synths on the computer in 2015)

"Lost" was the first song I ever made on Garage Band on my phone so it taught me how to use the program... then I was just playing around with it and eventually made a few I liked.... I posted the last 4 and then rediscovered "222" & "Deteriorate" .... 2 songs I had randomly made last year on my keyboard and recorded on my computer... I didn't really have anywhere to put them before but they seemed to fit...

I've known the super talented Lok Hwa for years and was thrilled to finally work with him in this video... I wanted to get a few shots of me walking around in my neighborhood before I moved and he thought of a story line and then we filmed it in a couple of days back in January.

Green Zine # 1..... IS HERE!!

Just a day before gay history was made I printed out these bad boys. It was an interesting process... I hadn't drawn Adrian/Phoenix or Mews in about 9 months or so... I have missed them but needed the break after years of working on FAT fridaze.

Mews makes a smaller cameo but was the missing piece... I penciled and inked Mews on the cover but he decided to start making himself known digitally...

Then when it came to some promo shots he decided to make an appearance in the flesh... He began rolling around and being adorable in the background....

I hope you enjoy this 8 page FAT fridaze story and add it to your collection of DMBstudios zines... I will be making 2 more Green Zines as well as a 3rd Daniel Zine this year... so look out for them...

Planning on sending these to New York, Seattle, LA and San Francisco... So, look for them...

Missing Cat: FAT Fridaze YR 2 Banner Retrospective/Making of Part 1

A lot of the format of FAT Fridaze has been due to the way blogspot is set up. That is why I chose to do a vertical strip as opposed to horizontal. I also wanted to insure that people could read the strip easily on their phone. I've been using banners like comic book covers since none of the strips have been printed yet to just move the story along. (Can't wait to print a book of FAT Fridaze sketches, drawings and banners some day :)))

This time I did the banner a different way... it's an actual whole image as opposed to just drawings of a few characters with a background thrown in. I drew this image with pencil, then went over it with a black colored pencil (shown below) then without doing any fill I hand colored it on Photoshop, I was really thrilled with how the texture and color worked together :)

Below are FF2's banner art so far... I already have the next 2 finished... Thanks for letting me take you guys on this little journey with me... and thanks again for reading and supporting!!
