I'm coloring the last comic strip...

It's crazy... I have been working on this project for about 10 or so months and I am finally almost finished with it all... it doesn't seem real.

It has been such a fascinating process... I feel like I know more of what it takes to bust out some work. Having the weekly deadline was really necessary and pushed me to be ahead of the game... at this point I am about 2.5 months ahead... so now I can just work on the cover art and extras for the printed version (Coming This Summer!!) and finally take a little break.

I am beyond thrilled to be printing my own work... this will be a first for me. I am so glad that I have had steady readers on the FF page. Thank you guys so much!! :)

Next up I am already 20 story ideas into FAT Fridaze year 2 (this isn't a Harry Potter thing...I swear) and I have a lot of ideas for Part 2... it's exciting... so much is going to happen to these guys (and girl... and cat) next year!!!

I want to finish up Envira III and also start working on shorts for a graphic novel I have been planning for several years...

I'd like to be productive as possible this year... I hope the world doesn't end... because I have too many story and character ideas...

I finally got to spend a good amount of time on new banner art!!! I'm really happy with the turn out, this is something I was designing for a while and have been editing/coloring it for about 2 months off and on between strips.

Slow and steady...

I'm currently coloring 5 Strips at a time... *_* I must admit I am exhausted and ready to move on to another project, this has been quite the challenge to keep this up... I am excited that I haven't been interrupted yet. I hope you guys like what is happening now... many more twists and turns lay ahead :)
If I weren't publishing this online I probably couldn't have kept it up this long. (I am stumped on a few of the strips but had some really big visual breakthroughs on others) .... Zzzzzz

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope everyone had an awesome New Years! I'm so excited about 2012, It will be a big year for me!!! I am going to publish my first comic strip series sometime in the summer AND... the pilot for the cartoon (I have been so fortunate to be a part of) got picked up!!!! It's official. The pilot will be on TV!!! Soon I will finally be able to talk more about it and post pictures/videos etc. For anyone who knows me they have heard me talking about this for years... I know some people were skeptical, others have been really supportive. I want to thank everyone involved on the cartoon for putting in so much work before we had funding and also to all of my family and friends for keeping me going through the rough times. I can't wait to start working on the pilot, I want it to be my best work yet!

This is just the beginning of many exciting new projects that I am thrilled about. I have most of FAT Fridaze fleshed out and drawn... still deciding just how to end it. I have started thinking about FF Year 2 (and I will be collaborating on the story with a friend, identity will be revealed soon) I also have several other comic/graphic novel/zine ideas and will try and crank out as much stuff as I can this year (don't want to spread myself thin though... quality, not quantity)

After Hours finale...

Hey guys... just posted the finale for FAT Fridaze: After Hours today... I hope you enjoy. Now you can read them all the way through from the start... I hope the story wasn't too confusing/choppy. This was a first for me... I had the first 20 strips just try and show these guys in a more controlled environment... but we are still getting to know them. I have started piecing together the last of the strips for this year, surprisingly I have too many stories... so I am trying to cut back and decide what I really want to show. I've missed Mews so I'm excited to have more stories with him soon... and since this one night took 10 weeks to tell, I thought of a way to bring the timeline up to date ;) (Insert jingle bells)

I was happy with After Hours for the most part... my goal was to have more fun with color/shadow/location etc... I wanted to take it a little further. Finally we have more plot to work with and I can build the story from there...

I am excited about the 2 new characters... Fahari and the mysterious stranger Phoenix left the house party with... they will be reoccurring...

FAT Fridaaaaze...
